Our first website, www.SavageShooters.com, was founded in September of 2001 to provide an online community for like-minded Savage firearm enthusiasts to find, seek and share knowledge in a family-friendly, non-hostile environment.

Over the past 8 years we have amassed over 300 separate articles and product reviews pertaining to Savage firearms. These articles cover a vast array of subjects including but not limited to: Gunsmithing, Historical Information, Hunting Techniques, Product Reviews, Project Rifles, Reloading, and much more. If it's relevant to competition shooting, hunting or Savage firearms you'll find it here! The websites' Forum provides an online community where our members can gather and discuss various ideas and techniques with like-minded individuals who share their passion for Savage firearms. The forum offers a vast selection of topic specific boards on which one can pose questions, share experiences, and establish some great new friendships.

In 2008 we decided to expand our focus and launch a series of similarly designed websites for different brands, hunting, and various other areas of the hunting and shooting sports industry. Our goal is to provide our visitors with the most up to date and complete information available on the internet in a very user friendly format. To accomplish the latter, all of our sites share the same basic design and functionality. What this means to you is that you will feel at home and know where to find what you are looking for when going from one site to another. These new websites will be rolling out over the course of the 2009 calendar year.

At Baker-Media we operate each of our websites as an online magazine (more commonly referred to as eZines). While the forums are accessible to all at no cost, we do require a paid membership to view the full articles on each website. It takes time and money to assemble, edit and publish each article, and the funds raised through these membership fee's will ensure that we can continue to offer top quality articles in the future.
Membership Levels

The Basic User group is the group all newly registered users will be placed. This group has unlimited access to the forum so that they may get a feel for the atmosphere and community that each website offers, but there is no access to the published content on the website other than the Industry News and RSS Feeds.

The Paid Member user group will consist of all users who have purchased an annual membership. As a paid member you will have unrestricted access to the website content and forum. Additionally, paid members will receive Classified Listing Credits that can be redeemed when placing ads within our classified boards.

Options:

We accept membership payments online through PayPal, or you can send a check or money order the the address at the bottom of the page. (U.S. residents only. All international donations must be made through PayPal)

Unfortunately, getting foreign checks and money orders cashed (even when in U.S. funds) is a big hassle and also includes a hefty fee of $20. As such all foreign membership subscriptions must be purchased via PayPal. Those who do not have a PayPal account can still use their service by making payment with a credit card.

If you absolutely refuse to use PayPal's service for whatever reason, please contact the Administrator via email using the address below to discuss other options. We are happy to work with you, but we do have limited options and cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate every situation.

Step 1: From any page on the forum simply access your user profile by selecting Profile from the menu.

Step 2: On your profile page, select Paid Subscriptions from the menu on the left.

Step 3: Select the membership option you wish to purchase by clicking the corresponding Order button.
(Note that under the subscription options it shows any Existing Subscriptions you may have and when they will expire.)

Step 4: Confirm the information and if everything is correct click the Order with PayPal button.

From this point you will be taken to PayPal's website where you will login to your account and actually make the payment. Upon transfer of funds your new membership will automatically be activated by the forum software.

Note: If paying by E-Check your payment could take up to 5 days to clear and the activation of your membership
will not take effect until the E-Check clears and funds are deposited into our account.
